Oh relax, Konerak, it's not an imperative. It's a thread where you clock your shower times. I think shower times relate to agoraphobic tendencies, self-control, life horror, any number of things.

I get up at half seven, straight into the bathroom, ad out again by 8 at the latest. I shit, shower, facewash and occasionally shave (though more likely to do this at weekend and one weekday evening after football). I probably spend about 4 minutes under the shower. How do you people have TIME?! Where is my life going?!

the whole process (from going into bathroom to start shaving to coming out of bathroom in dressing room) takes FOREVER. Are you you sure the rest of you are actually washing yourselves?

what's wrong with 40 minutes in the shower? DV is otm, the "whole process" does take FOREVER, I swear someone steals time while I shave or preen my hair.

I often miss buses and things cos of getting ready, I guess it's part vanity part insecurity.

In the winter, it's longer because I have to stand there with the hot water on the back of my neck before enough blood returns to the other limbs to move. And then after I'm done washing up, I spend a few more minutes standing there fearing the cold air outside the shower.

I suppose mine last about 8 minutes or so. I always get my girlfriend to cut my hair really short, but I don't have her cut it very often, so my shower time varies depending on how much hair I've got at the moment. I like to use conditioner when it gets past a certain length, but after a cut I reset to a pea-sized amount of shampoo only.

Usually I'm 5-10 mins. If I'm cold or still tired I stay in there about 20 mins or more. I find water completely unsexual and cannot achieve erection in shower, hot tub, or swimming pool if I'm by myself. On a Saturday I shower about three times just to keep myself alert.
