Not to take away from the equally horrific -- if not more so, given the many children who were victims -- Basra attacks today. But the Riyadh attacks follow some days of reported clashes in Riyadh with...well, who knows exactly, 'insurgents' seems to be the preferred word of choice in some corners. There's an initial report coming down indicating that a 'senior police officer' was killed, but nothing more clear than that at the present time. All very...interesting, in the proverbial Chinese sense of the word.
