Oh dear. 9-4 up against Steve Davis, it's now 9-7, what odds he loses 10-9?

I don't know, his solo album is pretty great.

Well, he's fianlly broken the habit of a lifetime and taken it 10-7. In the next round he gets... someone tricky. I forget who.

Joe Swail, who's apparently in the best form he's ever been in ever. What with Barry The House Elf up against That Bastard Hendry, I may be running out of people to cheer for quite quickly. Ho hum.

Thinking about it, Barry looks more like a hobbit really, but Barry The House Elf has a certain ring to it.

actually, he sort of falls in between the two, really.

I think someone should go up to David Grey and sing babyon at him. I'm sure no-one has said that to him before.

Today - Ronnie is 8-8 with Hicks and apparently in somewhat erratic form. In what Dennis Taylor is doubtless referring to as the 'glamour tie', Stevens and Hunter find themselves level at 4-4. Joe Perry has the chance to cause the first upset of the second round, at 10-3 up against Mark Williams, but somehow his lead has been cut to 10-6, which is annoying cos Mark Williams is a goitre. Oh, and our Ant'neh was 4-2 down to Swail last time I looked.

And with that Swail takes another frame to go 5-2 up. I think JP and Williams have finished their session now, and Swail and Ant'neh have one more frame to play, which The Outlaw will probably take. As dark horses go, you'd reckon he's a good one.
