Does anyone you know not seem to have many clothes? Do you see anyone who always seems to be wearing the same outfit?

Yes. HSA. The man owns two pairs of trousers and about five shirts. Two jumpers. That's *IT*.

(Actually, he possibly owns more like ten t-shirts, because if he finds a t-shirt he likes, he buys two of them.)

I am utterly MYSTIFIED by this.

I do it with trousers, but I've got ... five "formal" pairs of trousers, plus I can't count how many pairs of jeans! I don't just find ONE SET of trousers and wear nothing else. I'd run out of laundry apart from anything else!

And when you factor in the two pairs of Dunlop Volleys, that's 40 combinations!

before she met my Dad my Mum apparently dated someone who didn't have many clothes. My nan concluded that this was coz he'd been in prison.

If all your tops go with all your trousers, you are lucky. I have to make a vague attempt at colour coordinating. I.E. wear blue tops with blue trousers and black tops with black trousers. Life is complicated!

Me. Black shirt, dark green/brown trousers. That's it.

When I put on my nice (and rarely worn) interview suit the other day, my wife told me that it made her realize how shit all the rest of my clothes are.

A friend still regularly wears the same t-shirt he's had since primary school with a picture of a slam-dunking cartoon pig. Quality t-shirt, but he's 23 now.
