Unless you're an absolute stickler for perfection, you will probably be able to look past these flaws, but it makes you wonder exactly why more time wasn't spent ensuring that every game was optimized to play better.

The model cars weren't so bad, the model airplane drove me nuts. In fact I'm pretty certain I didn't do it the last few times I played through.

i rediscovered Multi Theft Auto today, finally got it working after a new pc and figuring out why it wouldn't run. They made huge improvements to the interface since I last played this, it's all a lot more user friendly now.
This is one of the best multiplayer games ever, particularly the race games. The only connection it has with GTA is that it uses the San Andreas world model (and you need the original game), although many of the vehicles are modded.
I've seen other modes available such as RPG (not tried it but I shudder to think really), but the other really fun mode is death match in which vehicles have to survive against each other on crazily constructed platforms and such.
