i thought the smut peddlers were deravitve and boring as fuck. the guitar players were weak. X put on a great great show, even though i really don't listen to them now, or much else from the genre 'cept THE FALL (GAMH 5/9). Billy Zoom is a great player, I don't think he looked at his fretboard once the whole show. He's like a cartoon character, that smile and silver guitar, and Jon and Xene were really sounding good together, that was the original drummer too.

no the 'punk' band. two guitars, bass, drums and peroxided lead singer. they were just not good, but maybe that's the idea, headliners don't like to be upstaged. gotta go to the chamber music series at davies symphony hall now
