Picked up The Running of Beasts and it's really really good. Galaxies, Beyond Apollo, The Men Inside and um a couple of others on my shelves at home (some weirdly and loosely related to JFK's assassination if I remember rightly). Did the guy write any bad books?

There's a name I haven't thought of in a while, though now that I think about it I've actually not read much by him. Who would you classify as his peers, ya figure? I would say Elvis T. to thread but he's away -- Martin?

There are clearly elements of Ballard and Dick in a lot Malzberg's stuff, but he seems pretty singular and both those guys predated him anyway.

The Destruction of the Temple was deep as hell in the summer between seventh and eighth grade, but I couldn't vouch for how well it'd stand up - it was a Ballard-esque assassination-of-Kenney feverdream kinda deal.
