Do all comedies come out in unrated/"mo' titties!" versions now? Is there a planned DVD release of Annie Hall with graphic Allen-Keaton sex scenes?

As for The Girl Next Door Yeah, I just rented the "unrated" version. The ending doesn't make you feel as good as most high school movies do. I suspect it's because there is actually real change at the end (as opposed to the reestablishment of the status quo as something more acceptable - sorry Jameson stuff). Way too many plot twists and deus ex machinas. There's a real problem in that the filmmakers didn't settle on a mood and so the movie feels disjointed from scene to scene. The "unrated" version is still pretty tame. Elisha Cuthbert is a goddess - unbelievable. There's a sweetness and innocence to her and the main character's friend, but there's an odd meanness (and indifference) to the whole thing too.

I just couldnt get over how hackneyed it was. Like the smokin hot ex porno teen falls in love with geek next door because...? because he saw her naked? thats about it. and then nerd next door goes into total psycho mode, follows her around and basically fucks her shit up for awhile but eventually she falls back into line and things work out. huh?
