I realize that it is entirely possible that this handle is used by many persons throughout the world.

But is the ILX "Wintermute" the same guy that got a 'shoutout' on the winter issue of 2600?

Its source is the first cyberpunk book, Neuromancer, so my guess would be no.

Its a good read, even for the ungeek. I dropped ~$15 at Borders yesterday on just a copy of it and the April Mojo. Im a fucking loser.
