ABC is already back-pedalling like mad about last week's promos - the ones that hyped the families as "contestants" who would "win or lose" the baby as the "prize".

I know it's sweeps week in America and all that but COME ON. Is there we are at now?

How long before we get a Stephen King-stylee shows where contestants actually DIE in the process. I mean, what's left?

This was on the front of the Metro this morning. It's been a while since I've been so shocked. Suppose I shouldn't be surprised but still, it's amazing the depths that tv will go to for viewers. Also, what lengths people will go to to be on tv.

The couples who are taking part are presumably desperate for a baby. Just imagine how this is going to affect them emotionally, how can they be comfortable with this being played out in public.
