She is HILARIOUS on the extras portion of the 24 Season 2 DVD and it totally redeemed her for me. It made me think the director of the series must go to great lengths to deaden his actors' hidden reserves of interestingness. She was like "I have two expressions, and everything else is just a modulation between the two. Here's me frightened:" and she does this doe-eyed cheeck-sucking gaze. "Here's me empathetic:" and she does exactly the same thing, and she laughs. Very weird to find out she's Australian. In any case she's too self-consciously beautiful to be anything really great I think, even wth te possibly interesting overbite
