I was on myspace and every band in NYC tried to link to me. I just ignored them.

I like that there are bands and random objects to link to. It means

1) I look like I have more friends (a few of my friends have several profiles because of their bands)

2) It's an easy way to reduce the number of links to intersting people whose profiles you want to have a look at, but initially are more than 3 links, or whatever that new rule is, away.

i made a really good marc bolan, but then he started getting like 72 friend requests per day and i had to abandon him. if you come across someone with a great marc testimonial, it's probably my doing.
