I just got laid off from my office job today. Meanwhile, I graduated from college, yesterday. That's my sad sack story. Anyway..can anyone recommend a good temp agency in NYC?

Oh boy, a question about my area of expertise, ha ha. Try Wall Street Services: 212-509-7200. Based downtown, mostly supply huge financial corporations, so the pay's pretty damn good for doing dick all. I've been "working" for them for a couple years, off and on.

seriously, it depends on your field. for generic admin work I would try adecco or execu-search.

I don't have a field. I majored in lit. Hoping to return to grad school for teaching in the fall.
