I slept for 17 hours last night and most of today. I still feel tingly.

Prude (Prude), Sunday, 16 May 2004 01:42 (twenty-two years ago)

I think I slept for 20 hours once.

roxymuzak (roxymuzak), Sunday, 16 May 2004 01:46 (twenty-two years ago)

My daughter does that and then fusses at me and my wife for letting her do it. I guess my record is 13 hrs. or so.

Rock Hardy (Rock Hardy), Sunday, 16 May 2004 01:48 (twenty-two years ago)

I just did 2 nights in a row of 12+ hours. But Ive been under a lot of stress and arent too well, lately. Boy I feel better now though.

Trayce (trayce), Sunday, 16 May 2004 02:13 (twenty-two years ago)

After the first time I dropped acid, I slept from ~6pm until ~6pm the next day. 24 hours, give or take 15 minutes.

I can sleep, normally, for 12 hours at a stretch without any problem.

miloauckerman (miloauckerman), Sunday, 16 May 2004 02:15 (twenty-two years ago)

Unless I have the flu or something, maybe I get 6-7 hrs. Which sets me up for a 90 minute snooze in the late afternoon.

jim wentworth (wench), Sunday, 16 May 2004 02:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah, I'd guess my record is probably 17 or 18 hours. I guess it's not that difficult if I lose steam after dinner and don't wake up until noon the next day, and especially if I'm really deep in self-pity.

Eric H. (Eric H.), Sunday, 16 May 2004 03:38 (twenty-two years ago)

I once went to bed dead tired at 11 p.m. and didn't wake up until 8 a.m., then fell back asleep and woke up an hour later. This would be while I was in the midst of the worst case of the flu I've ever gone through.

In the past five years, I have never gone to sleep earlier than midnight and have never woken up past 10 a.m., though if I go to bed at midnight I end up waking up at 5 a.m. and if I wake up at 10 a.m. it's a sure bet I went to bed at 3 or 4 a.m.

Those Beautiful Lines (Dee the Lurker), Sunday, 16 May 2004 05:27 (twenty-two years ago)

I slept through the hip hop renaissance.

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Sunday, 16 May 2004 05:38 (twenty-two years ago)

I can always sleep for ages. I really wish I slept less or had a regular sleeping pattern cause I really hate the sound of my alarm clock.

Nellie (nellskies), Sunday, 16 May 2004 05:43 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm lucky if I get more than seven hours a night lately, and it's NEVER unbroken.

Sick Mouthy (Nick Southall), Sunday, 16 May 2004 07:19 (twenty-two years ago)

After a long acid binge, about 16 hours.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Sunday, 16 May 2004 07:25 (twenty-two years ago)

About 20 hours after being drinking for a similar amount of time, last Saturday.

Ronan (Ronan), Sunday, 16 May 2004 08:48 (twenty-two years ago)

Alarm clock tones: C/D?

Rickey Wright (Rrrickey), Sunday, 16 May 2004 08:51 (twenty-two years ago)

DUD. Well, the one I have anyway. MRAP MRAP MRAP MRAP MRAP MRAP... It's the most unpleasant sound imaginable. Which is probably the point, but still.

Prude (Prude), Sunday, 16 May 2004 08:52 (twenty-two years ago)

Ronan (Ronan), Sunday, 16 May 2004 08:54 (twenty-two years ago)

I always wake up to the radio. My god, why would anyone subject themselves to that hellish alarm clock beeping??!! THe source of a thousand nightmares. Radio all the way...

Broheems (diamond), Sunday, 16 May 2004 08:57 (twenty-two years ago)

8 inches.

caitlin (caitlin), Sunday, 16 May 2004 08:57 (twenty-two years ago)

the beginning of the night before the longest I ever slept. I look repulsed, I guess rightly so.

Ronan (Ronan), Sunday, 16 May 2004 09:03 (twenty-two years ago)

i think 16 hours is the most i've ever done, but that was a one-time only thing, after going for like 30 hours without sleep. 10 hours is my average, unless it's finals week or something.

J.D. (Justyn Dillingham), Sunday, 16 May 2004 11:48 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm pretty sure I've slept 24 hours at least once, probably when I had flu last year.

ferg (Ferg), Sunday, 16 May 2004 12:03 (twenty-two years ago)

six months pass...
just clocked 16 hrs, though i don't think its my personal 'best'. i feel like seven kinds of crap.

m. (mitchlnw), Friday, 19 November 2004 13:29 (twenty-one years ago)

Umm, I think I told the tale before, but my longest sleep 'unaided' would be 20 hours.

Short version (had to go into work on a friday night/saturday morn 02:00 just as I was preparing to crash, work prob solved around 8:30 am, went to Camden for breakfast, went back to work to see all well, went home, crashed around 2:00pm, woke around 10:00 am next morn. )

mark grout (mark grout), Friday, 19 November 2004 14:37 (twenty-one years ago)

16 hours, from Friday 5 pm to Saturday 9 am. Never broke the 24-hour mark.

mike a, Friday, 19 November 2004 14:39 (twenty-one years ago)

Probably around the twenty odd hour mark, very disconcerting when I woke up.. I had just begun a course of strong antibiotics, lay down on my (uncomfortable) couch and that was it, I was gone.

Weird.
