But was the show actually any good? I remember being pretty amused by his capers as a kid but don't know if I'd find it very funny as an adult.
What impresses me though is that one forgets that Rowan Atkinson who plays Bean, relying almost entirely on physical humour, was also Blackadder who always relyed on snappiness and verbal wit to get his laughs.
Also, was Mr Bean the precursor to the Alan Partridge/David Brent characters?
