Not non-alcohlic but lo in alcohol. Living in Britain meanbs asking for 'A Shandy' which is okay, but there must be beter alternatives. Who got good things to say about lo-alcohol drinks and what are they?
I really must calm down my drink intake. After a good 5 or 6 mornings-after this year that have meant asking everyone 'And what happened then?...Where did we go, What did i say?!!' etc, it really is time to go slow. I'm sure quitting smoking has exacerbated my blank spots from previous evenings. Losing weight hasn't helped. Nor has hammering the spirits in doubles bars all over the land.

Anyone seriously changed their boozin habits of late?

In a freak life imitating art coincidence, this thread is just like the scene in the Simpsons where Apu has a secret entrance hidden in the lo-alc drinks cabinet because no-one ever touches it.

Wine spritzer - half wine, half soda. I cant even drink straight chardonnays anymore, they taste too strong!

I think it was called a kamikaze. Technically a shot - vodka, lime juice and triple sec, but made in bulk with very little actual alcohol. Tastes like lemon-lime gatorade.

uh...

vodka? check (liquor).
triple-sec? check (liqueor).
lime-juice? check.

that must be a hell of a lot of lime juice.

lauren (laurenp), Wednesday, 19 May 2004 01:00 (twenty-two years ago)

The bar I drank them at made batches for $1 shot night and the like, so yeah. (Also, I'm pretty sure they were using non-alcoholic triple sec to save money)
