Well, it wasn't that damn hard to begin with...just put an image tag into the name line. But, yeah, I do miss having that photo, although admittedly it made it harder for most to figure out who was talking.

On the other hand, the idea of people with no other identifier than an avatar image alone is quite an interesting experiment. Maybe.

Oh, and I can't claim to be the first to do it...I forget who it was, but the Burgerpipe one came first. But hey, at least ILX was nice enough to be willing to let the posts with avatars remain as they are.
