I saw Tony Randall and Jack Klugman doing The Sunshine Boys on Broadway a few years back. Jack was quite ill with throat problems that night and had to be replaced by an understudy for the second act, but during intermission Tony came out and gave a funny, classy "ah well, show must go on" kinda speech, imparting anectotes from his experiences in the theater. I remember that much more vividly than the show.
