Podiatrists

I'm just about to leave for the podiatrist. I've never been to one before. This morning I made sure my toenails were nicely painted.

Is podiatry (?) helpful or is this going to be a big waste of money?

Will report back later.

I used to go to one. They used to be called chirpodists. I'm not sure why the name was changed.

Podiatrists will put you to sleep and cut your feet off. That's what they went to school for.

I have a shortened Achilles tendon in each of my legs which means that I put pressure on the wrong part of my feet and get bad calluses as a result. I did go to a podiatrist for a while and he gave me insoles and encouraged me to do special exercises but it didn't seem to do any good and eventually I was discharged.

The only reason I can imagine anyone becoming a podiatrist is not getting into med school.

Podiatrists. Evil fuckers. Weeks of pain. Gooey toes.
I'm ok now though, thanks to good old podiatrists.

What possesses someone to study for a job cutting old people's yellow curly toenails?

I am now seeing an orthopedist who is promising to undo the shitty work of a podiatrist. I don't know what a podiatrist can do that a orthopedist or a dermatologist can't do better.
