Confirmed casualties include Wonderfalls, Fox's critically acclaimed drama with Montreal's Caroline Dhavernas which was based in Toronto and Niagara Falls, Ont. Also among the casualties: Boston Public, Luis, A Minute with Stan Hooper, Oliver Beene, The Ortegas, Skin and Wanda at Large.
Confirmed because none of these shows have been seen for months!

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Most puzzling cast names:
Jonny Zero, a drama from ER and The West Wing-producer John Wells about an ex-con who wants to become a private investigator but has trouble living down his old reputation, featuring Franky G, GQ and Brennan Hesser

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:44 (twenty-two years ago)

Yay Arrested Development!

NA (Nick A.), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:45 (twenty-two years ago)

This should be awesome. The cast is great, and it's created by J.J. Abrams.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Dear lord, no!
Kelsey Grammer Presents: The Sketch Show, a sketch-comedy variety program in the vein of Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In, based on the British original and featuring rapid-fire puns, sight gags and comedy parodies

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:47 (twenty-two years ago)

CBS also said it will make a midseason comedy starring Jenna Elfman, made by the creator of Dharma & Greg.

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Oliver Beene? Didn't that air one episode after the Super Bowl five years ago and then get cancelled?

jaymc (jaymc), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:48 (twenty-two years ago)

Also, I expect Alias to be much better next season than it was this season, since a few of the old Angel writers will be writing it.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Oliver Beene was on for at least a season, which I know because it came on amongst some shows I like to watch (King of the Hill, Simpsons, Arrested Development). It was shit.

NA (Nick A.), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:50 (twenty-two years ago)

El D.B., what's the J.J. Abrams show?

also, does anyone know what the f Commando Nanny on the WB is?

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Empire and Rome, the duelling "rise of Octavian in ancient Rome" dramas (ABC and HBO, respectively). Unfortunately, the ABC one -- with Alias pop Victor Garber as Julius Caesar -- isn't in their upfronts, not even under midseason replacements.

The HBO show is bound to be awesome, despite/because of constantly building up tension which never leads to anything.

jaymc (jaymc), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:52 (twenty-two years ago)

Lost -- this is probably the only new show that sounds good to me. Hobbits (Dominic Monaghan) and evil zombie lawyers (Daniel Dae Kim) stranded on a desert island! Plus, Terry O'Quinn!

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:53 (twenty-two years ago)

("Jesse", "Married ... with Children") und John Larroquette ("Happy Family")

"The WB" "Commando Nanny" ab Herbst 2004 in sein Programm aufnehmen. Produzent ist Mark Burnett ("Survivor").

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:53 (twenty-two years ago)

You don't need to know German to know that Commando Nanny's gonna suck.

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Christina Applegate und John Larroquette! Yes!

m.e.a. (m.e.a.), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:54 (twenty-two years ago)

und noch nicht fest!

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Please oh please let the Applegate/Larroquette show (is that Commando Nanny or something else?) be more like The Larroquette Show than Happy Family or Jesse.

Tep (ktepi), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:56 (twenty-two years ago)

Seriendetails
Commando Nanny

(Artie Lange) an.

Die Boyers (John Larroquette und Christina Applegate) leben in Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

Die beiden Familien habe ewig Stress zusammen und liegen sich ständig wegen Kleinigkeiten in den

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:56 (twenty-two years ago)

All right, so there's a soldier in New York with Columbo, and a problem with a drill sergeant AND THEN THEY LEB UP. How is this not greatness?

Tep (ktepi), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Wasn't the dad from Alias also Jesus in the '60's movie of Godspell?

NA (Nick A.), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Yup.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Jesus went undercover as Caesar for SD Sixtus.

Tep (ktepi), Thursday, 20 May 2004 18:00 (twenty-two years ago)

That's not the same guy who joined Greenpeace to prove he was a man after being spurned by Elaine on Seinfeld?

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 20 May 2004 18:01 (twenty-two years ago)

The one good thing about Alias being pushed to January is that season 3 comes out in September, which means I'll be able to get caught up (I've only seen the DVDs).

Tep (ktepi), Thursday, 20 May 2004 18:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Huck, no, that's Bob Balaban.

NA (Nick A.), Thursday, 20 May 2004 18:02 (twenty-two years ago)

I think Commando Nanny stars Private Jessica Lynch?

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 20 May 2004 18:02 (twenty-two years ago)

NA (Nick A.), Thursday, 20 May 2004 18:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Isn't he the dad on Alias?

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 20 May 2004 18:05 (twenty-two years ago)

http://www.dearsally.org/alias/images/cast/100802_cast_abc23_booksigning.jpg

This is Victor Garber, dad on Alias.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Thursday, 20 May 2004 18:06 (twenty-two years ago)

I thought that was Colm Feore?

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 20 May 2004 18:06 (twenty-two years ago)

The creepiest thing my brother has ever said on ILX

jaymc (jaymc), Thursday, 20 May 2004 18:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Noo, Colm Feore is Liam Neeson.

Tep (ktepi), Thursday, 20 May 2004 18:09 (twenty-two years ago)

So which one is Ra's Al Ghul?

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 20 May 2004 18:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Tanya Tucker.

Tep (ktepi), Thursday, 20 May 2004 18:10 (twenty-two years ago)

That didn't actually make any sense.

Tep (ktepi), Thursday, 20 May 2004 18:11 (twenty-two years ago)

and your point is...?

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 20 May 2004 18:24 (twenty-two years ago)

CBS has added two Warner Bros. TV
comedies to its pilot crop this
season: "Center of the Universe,"
starring John Goodman, and "Saint
Louie," toplined by comedian Louis C.K.

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 20 May 2004 18:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Too bad it isn't Andrew W.K. instead of Louis C.K.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Thursday, 20 May 2004 18:31 (twenty-two years ago)

CBS also said it will make a midseason comedy starring Jenna Elfman, made by the creator of Dharma & Greg.

I love actresses that the studios REFUSE to remove from my television set. ie: tea leoni in the late 90s, trailer whatsherface: the chick from boston commons, two guys, a girl and a pizza place, etc etc.

bill stevens (bscrubbins), Thursday, 20 May 2004 18:41 (twenty-two years ago)

It's like they sign contracts or something!

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 20 May 2004 18:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Nicole you hater, Alias this season has been as good as season 1 and at times better.

PS the guy on the Lost picture you posted looks a LOT like Vartan.

Leeefuse 73 (Leee), Thursday, 20 May 2004 19:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Amazing Race will return for more breathless anticipation!

Leeefuse 73 (Leee), Thursday, 20 May 2004 19:55 (twenty-two years ago)

The guy from Amazing Race, the host, he's from New Zealand. That's why he talks funny.

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 20 May 2004 19:57 (twenty-two years ago)

Nicole you hater, Alias this season has been as good as season 1 and at times better.

Don't get me wrong: I still like the show a lot, but I just preferred the previous 2 seasons. It has had some good episodes, though.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Thursday, 20 May 2004 19:59 (twenty-two years ago)

I thought last season was thoroughly horrible -- though what I really mean is well produced but nevertheless unengaging.

ALeeeas 73 (Leee), Thursday, 20 May 2004 20:12 (twenty-two years ago)

Nooo, I think I liked last season the best of all because of Lena Olin.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Thursday, 20 May 2004 20:20 (twenty-two years ago)

i wonder if they'll rerun arrested development this summer (probably not, no-one ever reruns anything anymore).

kyle (akmonday), Thursday, 20 May 2004 20:41 (twenty-two years ago)

I just wanna know when AD is coming out on DVD.

NA (Nick A.), Thursday, 20 May 2004 20:43 (twenty-two years ago)

WHAT THE FUCK ARE PEOPLE DOING INDOORS IN THE SUMMER?

hstencil (hstencil), Thursday, 20 May 2004 20:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Jason Alexander as Tony Kornheiser is either really really good or REALLY REALLY bad. I can't wait to find out which! (Speaking of, it's funny how all the ex-Seinfeld people's series last like 3 episodes tops - Jason Alexander's last one was pulling out Seinfeld joke IN THE FIRST EPISODE!!).

Aaron W (Aaron W), Thursday, 20 May 2004 20:44 (twenty-two years ago)

hiding from the evil sunshine, stence
