The ILE search ignores words of 3 letters or less, so how do I find talk of, for example, BMX?

Ta!

Which, just for the record, is a search doable through the top of the Search page that is linked at the bottom of this and most every other page.

The alltheweb box on the search page is a good start, but if you don't get what you want (alltheweb only index some threads) then you'll just have to think of other, longer words that might also crop up in a thread about BMXs.

(you could have tried BMXs in the plural, for example)

you could have tried BMXs in the plural, for example) Which is to say, you can't.

Are you making a nice grammatical point or something else?
