Have you ever been persuaded or tempted to go out and buy something coz of something you saw on ILX. If so, describe.

I am now tempted to go out and buy a digital camera so I can contribute to the latest picture thread properly rather than post a pic which is almost a year old (which is what I did yesterday).

I love the pics which people have taken and posted within seconds, showing them AND their computer screens, with other ilxors on them. There is something mildly comic about the pose one has to adopt to do this in itself.
