Zhang Yimou directs Andy Lau, Takeshi Kaneshiro and Zhang Ziyi! holy crap this could be great. Plus its original title is House of Flying Daggers!

I am now waiting in fear for someone to tell me that they saw Hero (Zhang Yimou's previous martial arts epic) and it was rubbish.

one of my coworkers downloaded Hero the other night, he said it was pretty great but the lack of subtitleson the rip meant he fast-forwarded a lot to get to the fights. The trailer raises expectations probably a bit too high.

Lovers sounds great. I'm watching Chungking Express right now and I dare anyone to guess what sort-of-ILXor I've decided Takeshi Kaneshiro looks like in this movie. WTF.
