Cats doing backflips

A couple of years ago, I was up at my parents' house in their backyard. The tabby cat that they had at the time, Amanda, was back there with me. She saw a butterfly fly over her head, jumped at it...and made a double backflip, almost colliding with a branch of the hibscus that she was under. This was, understandibly, a big suprise to her, and it took a minute or two for her to get around to showing us that pissed-off look that cats get when they do something undignified in front of other living creatures.

My cat used to do backflips when playing fetch, when he was a kitten. When he grew up a bit he stopped playing - I assume he decided that playing games was a bit beneath him.
