The website is disappointingly thin on details. It is bizarre that they don't seem to claim any principles other than being in favour of Jesus and 'the family'. They say they believe all laws should be based on biblical teaching, as if it was obvious what that would mean.
Of the Christians I've met or known who've claimed any interest in politics, almost all are social justice-campaigning, moderate socialist, caring-about-the-third-world sorts. But maybe OCV's reactionary sort of fundamentalism is more common in this country than I thought?
I wish I'd seen the hilarious bile-filled party broadcast. The BNP's one was a bit too depressing to really be funny. The BNP's website, incidentally, is worth looking at if only for the ridiculous merchandise (you can buy nationalist mousemats!)
