just how worried should i be?

last night was extremely stressful for me so is it possible that's the reason and i shouldn't have to make some mad scramble towards fixing my lifestyle?

Are we talking bloodshot eyes or bleeding eyes? Pain or not? If bleeding or pain, I'd be worried enough to see a doctor.

no external bleeding or any pain beyond a mild headache. just a quite large red spot in the middle of the white of my eye. i wasn't convinced that it was bad enough to waste a doctor's appointment on but y'know..

I have this ugly little blood vessel in one of my eyes. One day maybe I'll get to be on the Swan and have it removed. No, it's not so bad. I think I got mine from stress.

It's an occasional side effect of vomiting and or intense allergies/sneezing. It will heal (aka look a hell of a lot better) in a few days.

I don't think it's anything much to worry about, probably. Obviously I am not a doctor, however.

It comes of trying to emulate Evil-Eye Fleegle, in order to throw a double whammy on someone without sufficient pre-whammy stretching and warm-ups.

You can get burst blood vessels in your eye if you rub them too hard too, and yes, it goes away quickly and doesn't do any permanent damage...but it's sure cool to freak people out with it!

This happened to me a couple of years ago.

It's not a big deal.

I went to the doctor all freaked out thinking I'd go blind or whatever. But they said it was just one of those things that happens occasionally, like a blood nose.

If it kept happening, I'd be worried, but once off, it's just a small bodily malfunction I guess.

considering how many blood noses i've had over the years it was probably fairly inevitable

's a blood pressure thing, innit?

yes, apparently which makes sense regarding the whole stress thing.

I used to work at a playgroup for special needs children, and one day a new kid showed up (everyone else knew him from the previous years, but this was my first encounter with him).

So, I was talking to him, keeping an eye on other kids, keeping the peace etc. Then I made eye contact with him. His eye looked like it was filling up with blood. I freaked out. I grabbed him are ran into the hall looking for nurse, gibbering about blood-eyes. Obviously everyone just told me to sit down, because thekids coughs constantly and always does this. Anyway. Very frightening, and embarrassing, probably for the kid as much as me...
