knee replacement surgery - stories

My mom just had knee replacement and I wonder if anyone has some stories/info that can help me with her after surgery care.

follow doctor's instructions for rehab.

It will be painful.

Limit exercise, even golf.

How old is she? Does she have an active lifestyle?

I know a lot about this.

She's 70. She is very active - she is also still working at 70. (Economy - not choice). She is great with the rehab...but she is released Saturday to MY care, with a daily visit from a Nurse for rehab and blood work. But I'm responsible for the rest of the physical rehab.
