Almost a wine bottle. But not quite. No, nothing.
I don't watch T.V.
7:12 pm. Whoops, it's 7:03.
See above.
Not much, actually. A very faint sound of cars on a highway.
This is a very good question. Stepping outside is a real weird experience when you're a computer junkie. I was grocery shopping today, just got paid.

A blue and white plate that maybe my dad gave me - I feel bad I don't know. It has foreign coins on it.

The New Answers page. Before that, the Ricardo Villalobos album on Amazon.
My favourite Caterpillar jeans, now wearing thin over the knees. Beaten up brown and white zip-up trainers that I just put on for going to the take-away.
I'm sure I did, but I can't remember what.
Last night, I think. At something Cozen or RJG said.
Nothing. They're bare. I've been meaning to do something about this ever since I moved in in 2002. But it's kind of a minimalist flat, so it looks quite good without anything.
Some has prominently written 'Costcutter 2001' or something in the cement outside the local 24 hour shop, but I had never noticed it until this evening.
It's OK. The questions are much better than the usual. The book and dream ones are a bit vaguely worded. 15. What was the last film you saw?
'Bad Education'
A nice breakfast.
The only cat my family has ever owned was called Snow White and she was very sweet-natured, not even making a fuss when we stood on her tail (by mistake).
I don't really understand the 'regardless of guilt or politics' bit. Everything health-related I think of is either trivial or else makes 'ooh, overpopulation though' bells ring. OK, carry out all building that need doing, inc. new homes for the homeless and repairs for everywhere else.
I love to dance.
Too old testament.
That's great. I'd love to have a daughter. She'd maybe be called Loretta.

About 15 hours ago. I rode my scooter home after having dinner at Denny's.
I was looking outside at the real estate agent who is trying to sell the lot across the alleyway. The old house is sitting there 3/4 demolished. It's been in that state for weeks, and the agent has been sitting at his fold-up table every weekend for the last 6 months. It's a depressing scene.
A t-shirt. Nike mesh shorts. It's hot.
I dream every night. I can't recall it right now though.

It's long, but entertaining.
I saw 'Legal Eagles' last night. It was so-so, but Robert Redford is great. What ever happened to Debra Winger? She was a big-time star.
A car. A Mini Cooper. Then a motorcycle. Then a RAM upgrade for my iBook.

Slightly less joy.

Despite disliking almost all sports, I was actually very good at running the mile in high school track and never lost a race. However, the track coaches were constantly pissed at me because I "didn't put in enough effort" because I couldn't better my time in practices. Additionally, the coaches decided to put me in the half-mile and the two mile - both of which I did poorly at which generated even more "well, if you put in enough effort" guilt trips. Story of my school life in general, and why anyone involved with high school sports needs to fuck off and die immediately.

I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO BE AFRAID
(this is Death talking, in Pratchett's 'Reaper Man')
A large square glass paperweight, etched like a noughts-and-crosses board, with red hearts in place of the noughts. It was a valentine's day present from my man.
The last ever episode of Friends on Friday night, which was a bit dull. I hardly watch TV any more.
midday?
11.45
Birds singing in the trees outside the window
Went out to get the Sunday papers a couple of hours ago.
Checked my email
Jeans, red T-shirt, no shoes
Probably, but it wasn't a dream that I recalled on waking so it mustn't have been too interesting
11. When did you last laugh? Last night, in the pub with friends
Lots of framed family photos, a large cork noticeboard, 3 beech wood shelves filled with files, 2 beech wood racks filled with CDs, a Wallace & Gromit clock, 2 large glass clip-frames filled with Wallace & Gromit pictures cut from calendars, one very large black spider ambling slowly around the top of the wall and headed towards the window.
One day last week I drove past a house which had huge windows. Clearly visible in one of the upstairs bedroom windows was a life-size model of Father Christmas staring vacantly out into the garden. At least, I think it was a model.
14. What do you think of this quiz? It's fun. I like quizzes.
Van Helsing
I'd get some alterations done to my house. I love where I live and wouldn't want to move, but I'd like the house extended a bit. And a swimming pool.
I am terrified of being buried alive.
I'd have the UK towed several hundred miles south to make it warmer. I would also wish that people could be more tolerant of each other but I can't see what change I could make to force people do that.
19. Do you like to dance? Yup.
20. George W. Bush: Urgh
21. Imagine your first child is a girl. My first child is a girl. She's adorable.
22. Imagine your first child is a boy. I always imagined my first child would be a boy, but I'm glad now that I have girls. Girls are cool.
23. Would you ever consider living abroad? I lived abroad for several years and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd certainly do it again, if the occasion/opportunity arose.

8. Before you did this survey, what were you looking at? The mess.
9. What are you wearing? Jeans, black Pumas and a Japanese top. 10. Did you dream last night? Yes. I can't remember what exactly. Something about opening up a new shop (= nightmare).
11. When did you last laugh? Probably a few hours ago before I saw the mess.

13. See anything weird lately? Yes, I can only remember it was a succubus picture.

15. What was the last film you saw? Deep Impact... for ten minutes. The one before that, The Day After Tomorrow
16. If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first? Probably a house or a Prada handbag. hah!

10. Did you dream last night? Not that I recall.
11. When did you last laugh? Not sure - probably yesterday sometime.

14. What do you think of this quiz? It's a good one.

17. Tell me something about you that I don't know: I'm going to a party tonight.
18. If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do? Probably distribution of wealth/resources - it seems to me that people starving while others live in luxury is hugely obscene, so basics like food and shelter and medical care are the top priority.
19. Do you like to dance? Love it - might do some at that party tonight.
20. George W. Bush: Despise him on predictable grounds. I can't imagine there is much in the political arena where we are not very opposed.
21. Imagine your first child is a girl. I had a vasectomy so it's unlikely, but okay. I'd prefer a daughter, I think.
22. Imagine your first child is a boy. Ditto to the first part. I think more boys grow into horrible people than girls do.
23. Would you ever consider living abroad? Maybe, but I can't see it in many places. Maybe NYC. I'd need a very strong reason to leave London, probably love.

This morning, listening to my co-worker tell an anecdote.
Well, we're moving offices next week, so most everything's been stripped off the walls. There is still, however, a large map of Iraq and a picture of Joe Strummer torn from the pages of Mojo that dates back to the announcement of the great man's passing.
Weird is a relative term, but while watching "The Restaurant" last night (sorry, I know), there was a close-up of a guy with a tatoo from the artwork to the Stones' Voodoo Lounge album, which struck me a very fuckin' weird. I mean, if you're dead set on getting a tatoo, and you're determined that it be from a Stones album, why on God's Green Fuckin' Earth would you choose that particular image?
I'm enjoying it. The Sunday shift here at the News Desk is a herculean excercise in pointlessness. Even if huge news breaks, it's entirely unlikely that we we try to put it in the magazine at this point (too expensive, and it won't make every edition). But thanks to "The War on Terror", "The New Reality", etc. etc., we are now staffed here until 5pm on Sundays. I need everything I can get ahold of to pass the time.

When I saw Emily's "about a week a ago before i broke up with my boyf" I assumed the question was "When did you last have sex?".
Then I read above, and was mildly surprised at how recently everyone seemed to have had it.
