People being arbitrarily contrary

You know what I mean, right, like a friend who's younger than you and therefore has to disagree with all your opinions ... for some reason.

Or am I just imagining this because I can't tolerate people not agreeing with me?

What is to be done, etc.

some guy, Monday, 31 May 2004 07:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Immediately agree with everything they say.

Disagreement with me is always arbitrary, ill-founded, capricious, irrational and just plain wrong-headed. By definition. This does not apply, of course, to myself when I change my mind; my later position is simply a more perfect version of perfection. This position is not only tenable, it is incapable of improvement.

Aimless, you can't even imagine how wrong you are.

huck and aimless are

"some guy"'s way off too

You're just saying that because you confused your name with your nature.

The pain dulls as you get used to it. Or so I am told. Eventually, you will be able to agree with me for hours a time with only a mild background headache and a silly, frozen grin. I see it all the time.

Aimless (Aimless), Monday, 31 May 2004 17:44 (twenty-two years ago)

it's worse when they agree with you, some guy, far worse.

Ronan (Ronan), Monday, 31 May 2004 17:54 (twenty-two years ago)

oops (Oops), Tuesday, 1 June 2004 04:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Actually, you're all subtly but profoundly wrong; there is a third option.
