John Wayne - America: Why I Love Her - classic or dud?

Never heard this album but have always been curious since the poetry on it was written by one of my favorite lesser-known actors, John Mitchum (Robert's younger brother - he was DiGorgio in the Dirty Harry movies fer chrissakes, people!!)

I imagine at this point and time it would be laugh-out-loud hysterical, but I wouldn't be listening to it as some mousy indie ironist - I genuinely want to hear why the Johns - Wayne and Mitchum - love her.

Anyone ever heard it?

The best is that single on Westbound by that canadian dude. I am completely blanking on the title. It's hilarious though. I have it somewhere.
