Excuse-makers 'R' Us: Strong drink made them take photos of nekkid prisoners at Abu Ghraib

And they were soliciting prostitutes, too! Holy moly, enlistend men and officers wanting to fuck whores in a war zone, ain't that a pisser!?!

Generally, the US military condones lots of things in a war zone until it's time to search for excuses and scapegoats for bad behavior.
There was a whorehouse being run out of the officer's club on the US air base at Ur. This was common knowledge; non-coms, unsurprisingly,
took pictures of it, too.

So, let's examine the list of scapegoats for ill-treatment of prisoners:

1. Heevahavas from a guard military police unit.
2. Heevahavas working for military contractors.
3. The female heevahave running the prison.
4. OGM heevahavas ("OGM" is soldier-speak for CIA)
5. Lawyer heevahavas who drew up the Bush doctrine for military interrogations.
6. The big-deal general heevahava who ran Guantanamo prison camp.
7. Too much drink.
8. Rampant venery.
9. The Great Satan made them do it.
