I've done it. I have a brown pair of dress shoes exactly like a navy pair, but, hey, they were cheap and good looking.

Howsabouts getting two of the same exact shoe, because you really like the shoe and know that the company will stop making them right when the first pair wears out? I'm often wishing I'd done this with jeans and things.

i know, she's the one that convinced me to do it. she's got a few pairs of a few shoes.

we need some shoe organization in the house. anyone know any good places to look for something clean and minimal, outside of the closet type thing?

mouse OTM. My favorite belt in the history of the world has finally gotten to where it's barely functional any longer, and the buckle is covered in scratches. Of course nobody even makes anything like it anymore. I should have bought nine of them.

But to a certain extent you just have to move on. I still think I will probably go back and get more of the socks and pants I purchased recently in NYC, these are sweet.
