ddb (ddb), Monday, 14 June 2004 17:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Depends on the shoe, no? Some would make more sense than others in multiple colors.

martin m. (mushrush), Monday, 14 June 2004 18:13 (twenty-two years ago)

If it's a shoe you're going to be wearing a lot, why not?

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Monday, 14 June 2004 18:14 (twenty-two years ago)

I take it you mean two pairs, instead of two shoes.

Keith Watson (kmw), Monday, 14 June 2004 18:16 (twenty-two years ago)

I've done it. I have a brown pair of dress shoes exactly like a navy pair, but, hey, they were cheap and good looking.

Sarah McLusky (coco), Monday, 14 June 2004 18:52 (twenty-two years ago)

I have three pairs of the same style Campers in different colors.

if you then mix n match the colours - classic

Howsabouts getting two of the same exact shoe, because you really like the shoe and know that the company will stop making them right when the first pair wears out? I'm often wishing I'd done this with jeans and things.

Jon in R'lyeh (ex machina), Monday, 14 June 2004 19:10 (twenty-two years ago)

This from the fellow who just started his own thread about the shoes that he bought?

mouse, Monday, 14 June 2004 19:24 (twenty-two years ago)

so?

Jon in R'lyeh (ex machina), Monday, 14 June 2004 19:26 (twenty-two years ago)

JaXoN, ask your wife.

gygax! (gygax!), Monday, 14 June 2004 19:54 (twenty-two years ago)

God, mouse, I wish I'd done this SO HARD.

Gregory Henry (Gregory Henry), Monday, 14 June 2004 19:55 (twenty-two years ago)

JaXoN, ask your wife.

i know, she's the one that convinced me to do it. she's got a few pairs of a few shoes.

we need some shoe organization in the house. anyone know any good places to look for something clean and minimal, outside of the closet type thing?

JaXoN (JasonD), Monday, 14 June 2004 20:01 (twenty-two years ago)

fuck lofts and their lack of closet space

JaXoN (JasonD), Monday, 14 June 2004 20:02 (twenty-two years ago)

i think one of the shoes might have even been a girls' pair. it has bits of pink in it.

JaXoN (JasonD), Monday, 14 June 2004 20:04 (twenty-two years ago)

mouse OTM. My favorite belt in the history of the world has finally gotten to where it's barely functional any longer, and the buckle is covered in scratches. Of course nobody even makes anything like it anymore. I should have bought nine of them.

But to a certain extent you just have to move on. I still think I will probably go back and get more of the socks and pants I purchased recently in NYC, these are sweet.

TOMBOT, Monday, 14 June 2004 20:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Howsabouts getting two of the same exact shoe...
