Archel (Archel), Thursday, 17 June 2004 11:43 (twenty-two years ago)

the side mirrors on my car got stolen and i am paranoiding a potential relationship into the ground

are 'friends' electricsound? (electricsound), Thursday, 17 June 2004 11:44 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm trying to revise for my last exam tomorrow, and the bloke upstairs is playing something with thumping bass, so I can't concentrate.

jellybean (jellybean), Thursday, 17 June 2004 11:45 (twenty-two years ago)

I have been signed off work for two weeks as a result of work-related stress/depression.

Matt Thurgood (Matt T), Thursday, 17 June 2004 13:28 (twenty-two years ago)

there are too many cops on Church St.

hstencil (hstencil), Thursday, 17 June 2004 13:32 (twenty-two years ago)

I have the mother of all hangovers and a dim memory of waving sex toys in the middle of Oxford Street.

Anna (Anna), Thursday, 17 June 2004 13:37 (twenty-two years ago)

feel better, my transatlantic hangover sister.

lauren (laurenp), Thursday, 17 June 2004 13:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Because Matt fell off the sill while cleaning our (outside) windows :(

He sounded ok on the phone just now though so I don't think he is concussed or anything.

Archel (Archel), Thursday, 17 June 2004 14:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Unfun! Hope he is well.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 17 June 2004 14:44 (twenty-two years ago)

this has been possibly my $hittest day of work so far, not ready at all for the footie and won't even get to watch it.

chris (chris), Thursday, 17 June 2004 14:47 (twenty-two years ago)

:(

Can't you just make a break for it chris?

Archel (Archel), Thursday, 17 June 2004 14:49 (twenty-two years ago)

No beer for footy.

Gribowitz (Lynskey), Thursday, 17 June 2004 14:51 (twenty-two years ago)

stupidamerican, Thursday, 17 June 2004 14:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Soccer. England are playing Switzerland in two minutes time.

Archel (Archel), Thursday, 17 June 2004 14:59 (twenty-two years ago)

And that's important I take it??

stupidamerican, Thursday, 17 June 2004 15:23 (twenty-two years ago)

I have to fill in on writing possibly the lamest column on the planet.

rasheed wallace (rasheed wallace), Thursday, 17 June 2004 15:24 (twenty-two years ago)

unrequited love

astroblaster (astroblaster), Thursday, 17 June 2004 16:22 (twenty-two years ago)

my date flaked on me for saturday... ugh.

gygax! (gygax!), Thursday, 17 June 2004 16:26 (twenty-two years ago)

I have to fill in on writing possibly the lamest column on the planet.

Rasheed are you me and what do you know about inorganic chemicals?

hstencil (hstencil), Thursday, 17 June 2004 16:27 (twenty-two years ago)

today sucks because its day 4 of working 9-10 at work w/ no end in sight.

bill stevens (bscrubbins), Thursday, 17 June 2004 16:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Lame column suckitude has been filed. Phew. ... stence I think that our jobs seem eerily similar.

rasheed wallace (rasheed wallace), Thursday, 17 June 2004 19:36 (twenty-two years ago)

does yours pay better?

hstencil (hstencil), Thursday, 17 June 2004 19:36 (twenty-two years ago)

I'd say I get paid just enough to get me to keep coming in -- and not a cent more. Financial journalism is awesome!

rasheed wallace (rasheed wallace), Thursday, 17 June 2004 19:41 (twenty-two years ago)

oh okay well I don't get paid very much but it's more than not working, so maybe we should talk.

hstencil (hstencil), Thursday, 17 June 2004 19:46 (twenty-two years ago)

no one will fucking tell me if my car is ready.

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 17 June 2004 19:47 (twenty-two years ago)

I accidentally overslept this morning and was about 2 hours late for work.

martin m. (mushrush), Thursday, 17 June 2004 19:49 (twenty-two years ago)

I just got my hair cut and the poor old guy scalped me just above my right ear. It looks quite bad. It'll grow back in quickly enough I guess.

Bryan (Bryan), Thursday, 17 June 2004 19:57 (twenty-two years ago)

stence I'm always happy to talk about the trade.

rasheed wallace (rasheed wallace), Thursday, 17 June 2004 20:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Rasheed are you me and what do you know about inorganic chemicals?

Inorganic chemicals are those that contain no carbon. (My mother is an inorganic chemist. She has never been able to describe her work to me in words that I can understand.)

j.lu (j.lu), Thursday, 17 June 2004 20:12 (twenty-two years ago)

can I talk with your mom, j.lu?

hstencil (hstencil), Thursday, 17 June 2004 20:14 (twenty-two years ago)

Surely steel is inorganic?

caitlin (caitlin), Thursday, 17 June 2004 20:17 (twenty-two years ago)

I cover Alumina but not ALuminium.

hstencil (hstencil), Thursday, 17 June 2004 20:28 (twenty-two years ago)

One of the people on my review panel was disinterested in my work and rude about his lack of said interest when asked for comment by another panelist.

sgs (sgs), Thursday, 17 June 2004 20:52 (twenty-two years ago)

I went to bed at 1:30 am, my roommate had people ringing the doorbell at 5:30am and I couldn't get back to sleep, and I'm sick of people in this stupid city overall. I'll feel better tomorrow, probably, it's been a long week.

Gear! (Gear!), Thursday, 17 June 2004 20:54 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm supposed to start doing these new freaking huge reports on phone usage, and no one has even bothered installing the software that I need to produce these reports on my computer.

So I can... go and jump up and down and raise a giant stink outside the Acting Sys Admin's office until I get the software, or I can go and kick the head of the sales department off her desk for several hours while I figure it out on the server itself.

Apostrophe Catastrophe (kate), Friday, 18 June 2004 07:10 (twenty-two years ago)

...I don't know what tomorrow will bring.

CharlieNo4 (Charlie), Friday, 18 June 2004 07:17 (twenty-two years ago)

...the first thread I read today mentioned MEAD!! And now I feel like doing a bit of SICK!

I felt a bit sick anyway due to sodding Southwark council's plan of planting those plants in the park on the way to the tube station, you know, the ones that smell like a TEN DAY OLD CESSPIT FILLED WITH JIZ.

Sarah (starry), Friday, 18 June 2004 07:18 (twenty-two years ago)

disregard the above. :-D

gygax! (gygax!), Friday, 18 June 2004 07:50 (twenty-two years ago)

because it's just like yesterday

chris (chris), Friday, 18 June 2004 08:12 (twenty-two years ago)

You know what's really great? 9000% humidity.

rasheed wallace (rasheed wallace), Friday, 18 June 2004 11:20 (twenty-two years ago)

...legend has it that if you live in DC long enough you will develop allergies, and this seems to be happening to me

mookieproof (mookieproof), Friday, 18 June 2004 12:13 (twenty-two years ago)

the new Concretes cd is one of those that locks your computer up hard if you try and take a copy for listening to at work. grrr.

then i broke a tooth and will have to spend most of tomorrow morning phoning around dental surgeries (which i'm looking forward too less than having the tooth dealt with).

koogs (koogs), Monday, 21 June 2004 16:57 (twenty-one years ago)

i just found out that my ex-boyfriend (of a whole 3 months) got married on saturday. we were together for 5 years. i'm not over him.

hadley, Monday, 21 June 2004 17:03 (twenty-one years ago)

I developed a stye over the weekend. It doesn't hurt much any more, but it's messing with my vision in that eye.

And the woman in the office with me not only saw Riverdance this weekend, but really enjoyed it and wants to talk about it.

j.lu (j.lu), Monday, 21 June 2004 17:06 (twenty-one years ago)

make her do a reenactment!

(sorry, hadley.)

mookieproof (mookieproof), Monday, 21 June 2004 18:07 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm behind again. Move that deadline back!

hstencil (hstencil), Monday, 21 June 2004 18:11 (twenty-one years ago)
