Yet another temp job

I recently started another temp gig, this time I'm answering phones for the Nebraska Lottery. So when convenience store workers have problems with their lottery machines, they call me and I tell them to turn off the machine, then turn it back on and if that doesn't work, I send out a tech. Anyway, I'm looking for the quicksest way to creep out the other people answering phones with me. A way, if possible, that won't result in me getting fired.
