We're playing a pub venue in Brighton on Friday July 2nd - it's called The Providence and is on the Western Road.

Entrance is FREE and bands are : Fractured (us) and a Brighton band called My Device.

It would be grebt to see a few ILXers there.

While I'm at it, the following weekend is officially a FAB (Fancy A Bumpkin) in Hitchin town centre. This coincides with the massive Rhythms of the World music festival and also a quick lunchtime gig played by yours truly at the George pub. Those interested will also get to sample the lovely mead and a smorgasborg of real ales laid out at the Sun Runner pub further up the road, and also get to see some quality music of all types, outdoor and indoor.

Mark - me and the drummer are in both bands. Where ANM are sort of Factory-ish, Fractured are pop punk in a Fall/Buzzcocks style - fast and furious!

Hey, Brighton people - a question. The venue is apparently in Hove, not Brighton. Or is it - my attempts with streetmap.co.uk show it quite near to Brighton station - or is there a Western Road in Brighton too?

I'm trying to decide whether to take the tourbus (aka car) or go on the train.

It is - technically - in Hove but practically on the border with brighton. Western Road runs through Brighton into Hove and later becomes Church Road.

It's about a 20 minute max walk from Brighton station.

one month passes...

Are any ILXors in or near Hereford? We're playing the Old Harp (http://www.oldharp.com/) with Monmouth's Bitchpups (http://www.bitchpups.com/)on Friday August 20th. Two quid to get in, late bar, blah blah....

We're also playing somewhere in Worcester the next night, but I'm not sure where. Will post when I find out.
