I would vote for the former. Venison supposedly is very lean, so you would want to put the rump roast in a marinade for at least 24 hours.

i live in arctic canada wilderness. Caribou ass is indeed quite tasting good. especially when covered in blood of vanquished enemies.

i do not eat werewolf ass because i am not cannibal.
