How far can a grey squirell jump?

far enough to land in my roasting pan, if there was any justice in the world

if you jump about near a tree in a park frailing your hands about with your roasting pan, the squirrel is going to think you're nuts.

Eat or be eaten, then.

it would have to pass thru something en route that flayed it alive for this to be any use.

If the roasting pan were pre-heated to a sizzling temperature, the fur might just frizzle up immediately. On the other hand, do squirrels have thick enough skin to be annoying even if this were the case? Maybe worth getting a flaying attachment for the pan, Cabbage old son.

Apropos of errrr, I bought a load of artisanal(!) pork scratchings from a seedy fellow in a market in Barcelona - eating a load yesterday while watching Futurama I got one with ickle ginger pig hairs still on. Num.
