"Impact Carbs?" WTF?

Is this madness spreading to the UK and Australia? I realize it's just a fad, but it's reached epidemic proportion. Now they have "low carb" backpacking food, which is just insane to me: when exerting yourself in strenous excercise, you need carbohydrates all the more.

Also, the "sports beers" billboards showing a washboard stomach next to a beer bottle pure madness as well.

Carbohydrates are GOOD FOR YOU. They should be the largest part of your diet unless you live above the arctic circle.

(On the sanity front, KFC has been forced to pull their "Fried Chicken is a low carb, healthy food" ad campaign. I'm sure they didn't expect to run the ads as long they did, but it was worth a shot.)
