Do you like your own blood?

I just cut my finger a little and watching my own blood seep underneath my finger nail, squeezing the tip of my finger to make a big bubble ooze, out, licking it off etcetera, was wonderful.

So, do you like your own blood or are you squeamish?

I wouldn't say I liked it but I'm not worried by it.

When I was younger, I got a blood nose and let it bleed into a cup and was quite amazed by the way it congealed into a big glob.

I like my own blood. I also like it to stay within me and do its oxygenating job rather than ooze out of me. I am not squeamish when it comes to blood, I just think it should know its place.

I think we've evolved to like the taste of our own blood haven't we? So we lick our wounds to use the antibiotic enzymes in saliva or something.
