puppy prevents killing spree

i'm still not sure how i should feel about this story:

A man who told police he was bent on going on a murderous rampage believed people in his native New Brunswick were nice, so he planned to gun down people in Toronto instead - until a friendly dog changed his mind about the city's residents.

in true canuk fashion he & his intended victims were all too pleasant to carry out a mass murder. i fear what may've occurred if parking enforcement got to him before the dog did. toronto really dodged the bullet, so to speak, here.

usurping fellow Canadian = very un-Canadian thing to do.

hstencil (hstencil), Friday, 25 June 2004 13:20 (twenty-one years ago)

i suppose a more fitting punishment would be a 2 minute minor then¿ also that other thread deteriorated into a pic thread rather quickly.

dyson (dyson), Friday, 25 June 2004 13:22 (twenty-one years ago)

hahaha, yeah, get in the box with you!

hstencil (hstencil), Friday, 25 June 2004 13:26 (twenty-one years ago)

maybe we should have a mod rename this thread to "what is the appropriate method to punish a naughty canadian¿"

hstencil (hstencil), Friday, 25 June 2004 14:03 (twenty-one years ago)

We should open up a store together, Hstencil, selling anti-Cdn knick-knacks.

Huk-El (Horace Mann), Friday, 25 June 2004 14:05 (twenty-one years ago)

dyson (dyson), Friday, 25 June 2004 14:06 (twenty-one years ago)

I'd bet that in any other city in Canada, anti-TO globes would sell like hotcakes.

Its landscape is diverse, and its sunsets are legendary.

Its people are hard working, and the friendliest around.

It's got fresh air, low cost of living, and high quality of life.

It's Saskatchewan, and whether you live within its borders or beyond, it is considered "home."

What is it about this place that makes us quietly proud? Why is it that wherever you are, you're bound to meet
another Saskatchewanian? What is that unspoken bond that ties us all together?

Whatever it is, it's what makes Saskatchewan great - a great place to live, work, visit or do business. And that's what
the Saskatchewan Ambassadors Program is all about.

You. Sharing your pride. With the world.

Let's tell the world how proud we are to be Saskatchewan people!

Huk-El (Horace Mann), Friday, 25 June 2004 14:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Whether you are vacationing in an exotic location or skiing the slopes, you can still promote
Saskatchewan. When you meet other vacationers promote the great tourism industry, culture, and
the friendly faces of our province. Their next vacation may be to Saskatchewan.
