Wulf Zendik & His Followers -- huh?

Inspired by Strongo's near-free-lovefest with the hippie opposite-hitchhiker:

Has anybody else ever been approached by these people? I have seen them in Florida and Northern California. Apparently they live on communes (called "Zendik Farms") and they follow their leader -- sort of a poor man's Manson, named Wulf -- and they seem to put out lots of sub-jam band CDs of their drum circles. They are occasionally cute hippie girls, and they approach with a smile and a mission statement pamphlet and a request for money.

Has anyone else had any interaction with these people?

KailaShe spent her teen years self-medicating with romance novels (oh, come on… you did, too), and is now determined to outlive the damage. A killer Road Warrior and Phone Warrior, she’s absolutely key to getting our t-shirts, mags and CD's out into the world, and when things get tough with the powers that be, we send Kaila to the phones to go to bat for Zendik justice (those poor souls never even know what hit ‘em). She’s also an actor, and a lover of elaborate meals and a certain social elegance.

The descriptions of people at Zendik Farm are amusing.

A bawdy, rowdy, ball of energy—Avi is a quick-witted comedian who sharply and beautifully pegs herself, others and the culture... she and Chazz are the Zendik Comedy crew. Recently, she's taken on the challenge of publicly acknowledging her own grace and beauty (not as easy as it sounds), putting aside a lifetime lived in the land of the pseudo-tomboys. On the work front, she's a power Road Warrior, oversees our weekly shopping, does research for the Phone Warrior crew, gardens, milks goats and bakes kickass bread. Avi's also a lifelong dancer, and has recently revealed her acting skills, as well... and now she's pregnant.

Talon's back after an extended stay in the jungles of Hawaii, where he was chased by wild boars and his own lonely late night dreams. No longer convinced he's the last action hero, with the burdens of the world on his back, he's learning to live with the fact that he's a sometimes sweet—sometimes not so sweet—refugee from The School for Wayward Martyrs. On the work front, he's a tough, dependable Road Warrior and a near-permanent resident of the mechanics shop, where he's Zoe's main assistant. He also loves to draw, and is part of the new Zendik comics crew. And yes... he's a man who sews.

Yeah, I bought one of their CDs once from a cute hippie girl in Texas. It sucked.

wulf zendik's 70s music is interesting, from what i've heard. but i'm always down for some communal musical mystical shit.

one year passes...
So I said, "My name’s Nom, I’m with Zendik Farm
We’re stopping’ the culture that’s doin’ the harm."
I rapped about us and our foundation’
Gave her some real communication
I showed her the mag, she said, "What the fuck -
I wish it was more but I’ll give you a buck."
