This is the thread where I teach you all how to handle Joy Williams

First read Breaking & Entering. Then read Taking Care. Then read Escapes. Then read State Of Grace. Then read The Quick & The Dead. Then read her more experimental offering, The Changeling. Then read her collection of essays, Ill Nature. Then read her guidebook to the Florida Keys. Then hope for more from one of the great writers of the late 20th century and beyond. (I hear there is a new one coming out later this year.) (Then read her incomparable piece in Spin magazine on Wendy O. Williams. Surely one of the greatest examples of music writing in many a moon.)

JON WILLIAMS IS A THREAT TO OUR CHILDREN, BUT NOT OUR CHILDREN'S CHILDREN (BECAUSE WE WON'T BE LETTING OUR CHILDREN HAVE SEX)
