I was so thrilled tonight, when I was surfing the tv chanels and came across two singers that I haven't heard for years ! One was a show featuring Perry Como doing songs from the 40's & 50's. What a treat!
The other feature was of Dean Martin. ( Memories are made of this!) and many of the earlier songs he performed when he was very young. These men were really just great! I hope they will be shown again! It was a real treat to hear them again!

There was a good documentary about Las Vegas/the Rat pack on PBS last night. Your boyfriend Dean Martin got a lot of face time. I learned a lot about Sammy Davis Jr. - his role in the Rat Pack was actually pretty cool - ol'Frankie standing up against racist policies. And SDJr. was amazing.
I bought a Rosemary Clooney album - literally unplayed! - for 50 cents at the Goodwill. So I am with you, lady.
