shouting at people off busses

twice in the last week, i've been on the top of a routemaster bus and have seen people (ilxors, actually) on the street as i went past. once we were going too fast for me to do anything, but last night, i probably could have shouted 'hey, starry!' or something. but i didn't, because that reminded me too much of the people that shout things at people from car windows in small-town michigan.

do you shout at people off busses?

I saw Suzy from the 341 recently. I wouldn't shout at people, but if I had their phone numeber I might text them, or if I actually wanted to see them I'd Give Them A Call.

For some reason I find shouting abuse at people out of bus windows to be acceptable, whereas doing to from cars remains appalling.

I think i'd be more likely to shout when I was in my car, cos you are surrounded by ppl on a bus!

I wouldn't shout. Nothing to do with annoying people I neither know nor care about, but more because the person being shouted at would stop still, look around confused and eventually look up at the bus as it pulled away. There's kind of no point, unless it was someone I hadn't seen in ages and really wanted to see again, in which case I'd get off the bus.
