i need tips and tricks. i will be on the island of Oahu Sept 16-25. first time and i dont know anyone. any suggestions? id like to play a show there to. any venues?

Also, when in restaurants or bars, when asking for directions to the restrooms, don't say "This mainlander's about to make with the Big Kahuna."

i have a bunch of hilo suggestions, but i have an alarming tendency to recall images and forget place names. but give me a few days and i'll come up w/some stuff. i have some recommendations for the kona koast (west side of the big island) as well.

Don't bring your cat. Hawaii's the only state with no rabies inside it, and they're pretty adamant about keeping it that way.
