This is a bit weird. First I find out Alba means Scotland, now I find out it's a rabbit (my AIM names is rararabbits).

Alba (Alba), Wednesday, 8 September 2004 23:19 (twenty-one years ago)

It looks like a normal rabbit. I assume this is a conceptual thing/bad joke?

miloauckerman (miloauckerman), Thursday, 9 September 2004 01:11 (twenty-one years ago)

No, it is (or rather was) real.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 9 September 2004 01:23 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh, wow, crazy. The green rabbit flags just look like bad photoshop, and the photo of him holding the rabbit looks completely normal.

it's transgenic art like that hairy cactus but maybe it'll be part of the GM pets like those Fluorescent fish

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Thursday, 9 September 2004 10:21 (twenty-one years ago)

alba is also a slightly dodgy hi-fi manufacturer.

splooge (thesplooge), Thursday, 9 September 2004 10:25 (twenty-one years ago)

As I understand it, that is what he has named himself after (classy)

Madchen (Madchen), Thursday, 9 September 2004 10:43 (twenty-one years ago)

Hot dog, jumping frog, Alba: quirky.

PJ Miller (PJ Miller), Thursday, 9 September 2004 10:45 (twenty-one years ago)

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Thursday, 9 September 2004 11:02 (twenty-one years ago)

I didn't know it meant Scotland.

PJ Miller (PJ Miller), Thursday, 9 September 2004 11:05 (twenty-one years ago)

I didn't know that they weren't singing "I love cookies"!

Starry (hello chickens), Thursday, 9 September 2004 12:24 (twenty-one years ago)

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 9 September 2004 12:26 (twenty-one years ago)

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 9 September 2004 13:11 (twenty-one years ago)

You could try Alba the Glowing Rabbit. She might not like Eminem.

hobart paving (hobart paving), Thursday, 9 September 2004 13:14 (twenty-one years ago)

I think Alba means white or glowing. (I know, I know, I'm a Latin nerd)

jocelyn (Jocelyn), Thursday, 9 September 2004 13:17 (twenty-one years ago)

it's always General Protection's fault

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 9 September 2004 13:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Alba is Italian for dawn or daybreak (see Markelby upthread).

Madchen (Madchen), Thursday, 9 September 2004 13:31 (twenty-one years ago)

Cue the ILX 'You Are My Sunshine' singalong.

B.A.R.M.S. (Barima), Thursday, 9 September 2004 13:42 (twenty-one years ago)

eight months pass...
Where has he gone? He was good.

Yakuza Ghost Six (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 20:07 (twenty-one years ago)

Teh rabbit?

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 20:14 (twenty-one years ago)

I saw him speak at Berkeley once but he annoyingly didn't bring the rabbit and turn out the light. Hysterical protesters in the audience wanted to murder him.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 20:20 (twenty-one years ago)

I actually meant Alba the ILXor.

Yakuza Ghost Six (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 20:22 (twenty-one years ago)

So... Did... I.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 20:22 (twenty-one years ago)

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 20:23 (twenty-one years ago)
