Sleepwalking

I can't be too embarrassed by this, since I have no memory of it whatsoever. This morning Jessa had a very strange story to tell me. Apparently last night she woke me up in the middle of my peeing in the closet. She yelled, "What are you doing?!" and I screamed and then just stood there in a daze for a minute. She led me to the bathroom, and when I came back to bed I expressed regret for having peed on her clothes. I remember none of this. Ain't that peculiar?

I've also been talking a lot more in my sleep. Nothing very interesting (I hear), just babbling. This is all concurrent with my suddenly getting a lot more exercise and sleeping more regular hours, which one would assume means I've been sleeping better and harder. I'm going to be afraid to exercise and sleep regularly if this keeps up.

apparently once when i was a kid i ran into my parents' room and yelled, "what are you doing here?"

then i peed all over the place.

this was a sleepwalking incident btw

I only ever sleepwalked at uni. And only in the third (final) year. Somebody told me that they'd seen me sleepwalking and I didn't believe them at first. The second incident was when I'd finished my finals and gone out drinking with a mate and gone to bed and then had what i thought was a dream where I'd got back out of bed and walked quickly round the block. I then looked at the soles of my feet and saw that they were covered in mud!

I think it was caused by the combination of intense study and no drinking followed by finals followed by no study and lots of drinking which wrecked my brane .

Apparently I chat away to myself in my sleep. And also giggle, which is supposed to be quite scary.

my friend, a chronic sleepwalker, once had a lucid dream where he was in a darkened mortuary and moving dead bodies onto those slide out trays in the wall. he woke up the next morning only to find that every single pillow in the house had vanished - he found them a few hours later, all stuffed into his dresser drawers.

one of my housemates in college laughed in her sleep (cackled, really). it was very creepy. also creepy was the time she screamed "PENIS!" in her sleep.

one of my best friends in high school was a pretty severe sleepwalker, and once woke up wearing every bra that she owned and a mismatched pair of winter gloves.

we had to tie my best friend/college roommate to his bed with socks when he had too much to drink or had been drugging quite a lot.. otherwise he'd end up in very foreign places with his pants down.

i don't think it's actually sleepwalking if you've been drinking.

it's just called 'drunkenness', isn't it?

'blackout', too ;)

it'd be nice though- "no, no sweetheart, i WAS drinking, it's true, but in actual fact, it was because of my sleepwalking that you found me snogging so-and-so in the corner"
