But fuck it, ILX aint worth my time anymore.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Sunday, 26 September 2004 15:17 (twenty-one years ago)

So,

Kind Heart and Coronets - Alec Guinness gets all the plaudits but Dennis Price's performance is absolute perfection.

"My west window has all the exuberance of Chaucer without, happily, any of the concomitant crudities of his period."

- they knew how to write dialogue in those days

Jedermann sein eigener Fussball (Dada), Sunday, 26 September 2004 15:20 (twenty-one years ago)

I still need to see that, everything I've heard about it sounds like it would be a winner through and through.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Sunday, 26 September 2004 15:20 (twenty-one years ago)

It is Ned, it is

Jedermann sein eigener Fussball (Dada), Sunday, 26 September 2004 15:22 (twenty-one years ago)

Girolamo will be honored, I'm sure.

1) The Opening of Misty Beethoven
2) Bambi

Nada on either.

3) Deep Throat
4) Behind the Green Door
5) Debbie Does Dallas

These three are actually on my list, believe it or not. I haven't seen any of them yet, shame. But I do remember "reading" a Playboy pictorial on Linda Lovelace from an issue contemporaneous with the film. I was like 11, though, so I can't really say much about it. I guess it might have included a few frames from the film?

6) Blazing Saddles

Awesome Brooks, but not quite as classic as they claim. Top three, yes. But not #1.

7) Ben Dover Volume 6
8) Shaving Ryan's Privates

Wow. These exist?

9) The Devil in Miss Jones

Also on my list.

10) Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol

Sharon Stone! David Spade! Steve Gutenberg! Hot air balloons! David Graf and the old lady! A twist on the beginning of Part 1! I haven't even seen this movie in 15 years and I still remember all this shit!

Awesome!
