Seriously. Does shrimp & pumpkin bisque sound disgusting?

Remy (x Jeremy), Wednesday, 29 September 2004 21:23 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm feeling an inspiration coming on.. SHRIMPMATO! with vodka.

andy, Wednesday, 29 September 2004 21:24 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm not sure. I'm sort of a pumpkin minimalist and I can't figure out if those two tastes would have a happy wedding.

Doesn't shrimp stock go bad in like... 16 minutes? I have no patience for fish & donuts. Eat them super fresh or toss 'em out.

andy, Wednesday, 29 September 2004 21:32 (twenty-one years ago)

Do you eat prawn crackers in the US? Do you use stock to make them?

Make ice cubes. Every oportunity you get, be supergracious w/fucktard and fix him a drink. Freshen liberally.

Oh... I could swap it out with his wiper fluid! I'm half-hard at the thought if him driving through Southern California with a thin sheen of shrimp-juice baking on the windscreen!

I just love how your sense of the erotic is tied up in turf issues and seafood broth.

oops (Oops), Wednesday, 29 September 2004 22:27 (twenty-one years ago)

freeze it.

lauren (laurenp), Thursday, 30 September 2004 00:57 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah... I think that's what's inevitable. It'll be easy work to whip-up a bisque if I've already got that and some frozen shrimp waiting in the freezer.

Remy (x Jeremy), Thursday, 30 September 2004 00:59 (twenty-one years ago)

pour it on someone's doorstop

in Jr high, i had a friend who took a jar and stuffed it with all the nasty things in his fridge (eggs, vinegar, pickles, mustard, milk, etc) and put it in the back of his closet so he'd forget about it. come spring cleaning time, he took it out and poured it on this girls front poorch. it obviously smelled like death, but she thought he peed on it, so she went over to his house and peed on it.

...why do you HAVE half a gallon of fresh shrimp stock to start with? *gets the fear*

Trayce (trayce), Thursday, 30 September 2004 01:15 (twenty-one years ago)

Haha... I made it three days ago when I was cooking scampi; I roasted the shells in some sherry and orange peel. I just put it in the freezer. This thread is a total non sequitur.
