Mailing strange objects: Your weirdest sent out/received?

My best girl friend in high school and I used to have a competition of sorts wherein we we would write addresses onto and stick postage onto cumbersome/weird/seemingly unmailable objects, just to see which ones would arrive. I remember specifically getting a shoe this way, I've forgotten almost all others.

My sister once received a clock with her address on the face the postage around the edge.

Oh, and has anyone ever Fedexed a food item? Is this doable? There's no Taco Bell in London, so I'm going to buy four quesadillas and three 7-layer burritos in NYC and overnight them to Ken C. in tupperware. It's probably impossible, but totally worth the risk.

I guess you're not supposed to Fedex food and drink, but I know it's done. I also once overnighted someone a pack of cigarettes, which you're not supposed to do.

One time when I was flying to Boston, I mailed a big bag of weed to the house where I was going to stay, so that I wouldn't have to fuck with taking it on the plane.

ahhhh, the good ol' postal service is the best way do send the herb around. i, um... know this guy who was in amsterdam and sent some top-drawer smoke back to his canadian friends through the post. it was packaged crafty-like in an empty CD case all taped up stealth-like. he even threw a little talc in the envelope 'cos this dude figured what the hell - throw THE MAN off the scent, ya know? anyway, the post office asked this fella if he wanted to send it 'express' for an extra 20 cents (it was only 1 euro 40 cents as it stood), so he went for it. the package made it safe and sound to canada in THREE DAYS. the canadian friends (who have easy access to good weed all the time, but no matter) were well chuffed.

A friend and I used to exchange letters all summer when she went to Pittsburgh to stay with family, and once I opened an envelope and a bunch of slightly dried Spagetti-Os fell out. Thanks Em. She also mailed me a taped-up shoebox full of letters and some rocks and things.

A friend of ours used to send a strange object every christmas to our house, they were never wrapped just affixed with an address and stamp. I remember her sending a plastic red apple, two polystyrene snow balls, some mistletoe, all on seperate occasions.

this was the woman who also played the biker girl in an episode of The Office.

x-post... my sister did something similar; she sent me a letter containing hamster food which i opened on the bus. it all flew out and landed over the seats, floor and the lady in front. and it's not like my sister's 10, she's 30. last week she sent me a tea bag (un-used), a packet of sunflower seeds and some gnochhi in a sandwhich bag, which since the package had sat at the post office for a week, was very dodgy looking. it's still in my fridge though.

Poop in a Dorito's bag is always a good revenge method.
